We've all heard the stories and read the reports of under-achieving boys, particularly boys of color. In Federal Way community-minded men of color set out to do something about low achievement. The result is the Heritage Leadership Camp - a series of day long workshops developed for middle school boys to help them gain new-found confidence, have fewer behavioral issues, improve academically, and to encourage more positive attitudes among their classmates.
